Sci fi is an Absentee genre in Indian Cinema say Ali Fazal

While there have been a few superhero films in bollywood in recent year, sci-fi is one genre that is yet to be exlpored in depth by flimmakers here, Ali Fazal, a huge fan of the genre, says,

 Sci-fi has been a bit of an absentee genre in india. 

I guess because it sometimes requries technology and certain special effects. I have alway been fascinated by this genre," the actor who has been a part of the film world for over 13 years, got an opportunity to be a part of a sci-fi short recently and he is mighty thrilled about it. 

Speaking about his first venture in the genre, which is helmed by arati kadav, Ali shares, "Deraaye durust aaye" As a sci-fi fan , I am thrilled that I got to be a part of something interesting,We have tried to do it in a minimalistic way."
