Sharon Stone |
Actors use dating apps, just like us non-celebrity types. Most recently, Actress Sharon Stone was on the dating app Bumble and ended up being blocked by administrators because they didn’t believe it to actually be her. Stone tweeted her exclusion with a screenshot, but it turns out she was not photo verified, thus causing the error in believing it was a fake profile. They reinstated her profile and even extended her an invite to their corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas for a tour and profile prep.
What's is Tinder?
Tinder is an American geosocial networking and online dating application that allows users to anonymously swipe to like or dislike other profiles based on their photos, a small bio, and common interests. Once two users have "matched", they can exchange messages.

Some celebrities like Lizzo, John Mayer, Cara Delevingne, and Rebel Wilson, resorted to using a dating/networking app for the entertainment industry called Raya. To join, users must be referred by an existing member and then their application is voted on by a membership committee (with the acceptance rate being approximately 8%).

Hilary Duff |
Actress Hilary Duff confirmed that her profile on Tinder was real (when she was single) and even spoke about it during her interview with Ryan Seacrest. She even featured the app and some of her matches in her music video “Sparks.”
what's is Bumble?
Bumble is a location-based social application that facilitates communication between interested users. In heterosexual matches, only female users can make the first contact with matched male users, while in same-sex matches either person can send a message first.
Tinder even ended up creating a members/invitation only feature called Tinder Select in 2016, so it could cater to its elite or high profile users like CEOs, supermodels and other “hyper attractive/upwardly affluent types.”
Actors have problems dating like everyone else. I would even venture to say that it would even be more difficult to date as an actor because they probably get out less than regular folk.
